why we recommend network marketing cover image

Today we are going to talk about the benefits of the MLM business model and why we recommend network marketing to our readers.

We spend a lot of time talking about making extra money in order to save, invest, and prepare for a retirement that you can actually enjoy.

There are many ways to boost your income.

If you have carpentry skills, you could start a side hustle as a handyman for example. Some people turn to online affiliate marketing, or Etsy. Others learn how to trade financial markets now that apps like Robin Hood have made it easier and cheaper than ever before.

There are countless types of side hustles that you could do…

But one stands out above all of them and in our view, that’s network marketing.

Out of all the reasons why we recommend network marketing, it all comes down to one powerful idea:

Freedom.

Time freedom. Geographical freedom.

And most of all, financial freedom.

We believe that everybody should consider network marketing as a part of their long term financial plan. No matter what it is you do for a living, do network marketing in addition to that.

So let’s get more specific. Let’s talk about 16 reasons why we recommend network marketing.

1. The Morphing Economy

In 1971, everything changed with the economy. Globally.

Richard Nixon, the President of the United States, removed the gold peg from the US dollar.

After the Bretton Woods agreement after the resolution of World War 2, the United States dollar was backed by physical gold. Foreign currencies were backed by the US dollar, making them indirectly tied to gold.

The United States government stored gold for foreign nations because the US was deemed to be the safest place for it.

This meant that nations were limited in the amount of currency units that they could issue into their economies. It created a check on government. It was effectively forced discipline.

Despite this, the United States began spending and printing money way beyond their means. Foreign countries became concerned that the US dollar was being devalued and started demanding their gold back.

When France came to the United States with a warship in the early 1970s to redeem their gold, it became obvious that the United States did not have as much gold as they claimed and were indeed printing more money than the gold backing should allow.

So Richard Nixon was forced to remove the gold peg from the United States dollar. The dollar was no longer redeemable for gold.

So where does money come from now?

How is money created?

Money is now arbitrarily printed by governments, monetized by central banks. It is also borrowed into existence by commercial banks.

When you go to the bank to borrow $1000, they don’t give you money that they have… they create a brand new $1000 and borrow it to you. There are now 1000 more currency units in the economy, chasing goods and services.

And you need to pay it back eventually, with interest.

This means that the economy is forced to grow forever. And how does the economy grow? By creating more money… aka debt.

We can see now that household debt, corporate debt, and government debt are higher now than ever before in history.

The data for the chart above was taken from the St Louis Federal Reserve Database.

This creates a heavy drag on the economy because a large chunk of consumers’ income is always earmarked for debt payments. Obviously, this means they are going to have less money to spend into the economy… which causes the economy to slow.

This means fewer small businesses will succeed, which translates to less jobs and higher unemployment rates.

Quick fact:

Did you know that if you’ve been unemployed for more than 6 months, you are removed from the unemployment statistics? This makes the unemployment stats released by the government look way better than they are. Always take stats released by the government with a huge grain of salt!

In addition to the slowing economy and inflation gripping the world, the COVID-19 pandemic has made many folks realize that life is short.

They don’t want to go to a job that makes them miserable. And if at all possible, many folks want to work from home so that they can spend more time with their kids and do the things they love doing.

The current economic conditions are perfect for network marketing.

The business model can help you get ahead financially despite a slowing economy, help you create an income stream that you can rely on for retirement, and create the kind of life that will have you excited to get out of bed every morning.

2. Geographical Freedom

With all the digital technology at our fingertips today, you can work on your network marketing business from anywhere in the world.

If you are single like myself and want to travel the world for a while, you can do so while still continuing to work on your business.

You can have your cake and eat it too.

3. Time Freedom

Network marketing allows you to make the most of your time.

If you didn’t sleep well at night and need a few more hours in the morning, you can sleep in and start your day when you’re good and ready.

If you need to take some time to go to the dentist, you don’t need to ask anyone for permission. Need to give your kid a ride to soccer practice and maybe even go to every single game? No problem.

With a network marketing business, you can make your own schedule.

4. Low Barrier To Entry

Network marketing can be compared to a franchise business model, like McDonalds.

You are provided with a product line, training, and all the systems necessary to make the business work for you.

The difference is, McDonalds will require you to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars to get started.

Network marketing allows you to start for a few hundred bucks.

5. Low Overhead

Not only is the investment to get started very small, but so are your ongoing expenses. Many companies may require you to place a minimum monthly order of roughly $100 in order to qualify for earning commissions.

But that’s a pretty small price to pay.

6. No Employees

One of the most stressful things about being a small business owner is hiring and managing employees.

As a business owner, you will likely feel responsible for your employees. And if the business ever slows down and you’re forced to let go of some of your workers, it can be very emotionally draining.

In network marketing, you and everyone you recruit will be independent business owners.

7. No Boss

In network marketing, you will never need permission to take time off or do your work in a specific way.

YOU are the boss and the world is your oyster.

8. No Corporate Accounting or Logistics

This is one of the things that keeps many folks from starting a business. They’re worried about all the specialized skills you need that don’t even relate to the product or service that you’re selling.

In network marketing, all the corporate BS is handled for you.

9. No Inventory

It used to be the case that network marketing companies would encourage you to buy and stock inventory in your own home so that you would have products available when you make a sale.

This is no longer the case.

With digital technologies, your customer would simply create an account with your company, log into the website, place an order, and you get the commission.

10. No Brick and Mortar Location

Real estate is one of the biggest ongoing expenses for any small business owner… except network marketers.

With network marketing, your business is effectively digital. You can do it from anywhere in the world and there is no storefront required.

11. No Descrimination

Anyone can do network marketing. It’s all completely up to you. There is no descrimination against race, gender, disability, or any other arbitrary human quality.

If you want it, you can simply go and get it.

12. Tax Benefits

This depends on where you live. But most countries offer very generous tax benefits for home business owners.

Talk to your accountant about specifics for your location.

13. No Commuting

Did you know that the average American spends over 200 hours commuting to and from work every single year?

200 hours!

That’s 5 full work weeks spent sitting in your car being programmed by the mainstream media.

With network marketing, you work from wherever you want to. No commute necessary.

14. Residual Income

With a job or even many small businesses, you are simply trading your time for money. This is a bad deal since your time is limited, but money is effectively infinite.

As soon as you stop showing up to work, your income stops.

With network marketing, you have the opportunity to build a network of distributors who are going to generate and grow your income over time.

It will take time and hard work to build this network, but many folks have done it. And so can you.

15. Training and Support Provided

Starting a small business is quite risky because there are many things that you may not know. It can be extremely stressful which can, in turn, negatively affect how well you perform on the job.

With network marketing, you will receive all the training and support that you will ever need.

Think about it…

When you make more money, your sponsor will make more money, too.

Everyone in network marketing is incentivized to help the new guy or gal.

16. Personal Growth

The network marketing business is quite simple… but do not confuse simple for easy.

It’s going to take hard work and probably a thick skin.

If you are able to do well in this business, you will experience a lot of personal growth and would likely not recognize yourself in a few years from now.

In Conclusion…

We strongly believe that network marketing is the best option for creating a fun business and a secure income stream… especially during these turbulent economic times.

Most people in North America are living paycheck to paycheck. They couldn’t save for retirement if they wanted to…

Unless they took control and increased their income.

Don’t let a slowing economy and irresponsible governments keep you from doing the things that you wanna do.

A few thousand extra dollars per month could allow you to accumulate a small fortune from the stock market in the coming years. It might allow you to invest in a few rental properties to secure your retirement. Maybe you want to stack some gold or silver coins… just in case. Or maybe even Bitcoin.

Or perhaps you just want to be able to provide your children with a good education.

Or travel the world.

Whatever your financial goals are, network marketing could be an option.

There is no limit to how much money you can earn.. Which is the main reason why we recommend network marketing as a way to secure your future.

As we said earlier, it all comes down to freedom.

Network marketing can provide freedom.

You just need to take responsibility for your own future and become an action taker.
